My Story

I grew up in San Antonio, Texas, in the heart of the best deer hunting grounds in the USA. I started hunting as soon as I could walk with my dad, and can remember riding on his shoulders rattling from spot to spot on chilly mornings. It didn't take long for me to follow in the old man's footsteps. I killed my first buck at 5 and haven't slowed down since. 

I am lucky to have access to hunt ranches in the "Golden Triangle" of South Texas and the Texas Hill Country. Due to higher deer densities, it is in the hill country where one can hone rattling skills. I have rattled up more than 100 deer in one morning on more than one occasion. I have been able to translate that knowledge into the deep thick brush of south Texas where the monsters grow. 

In 2015, I started making custom rattling horns out of cull bucks and sheds for friends and family as gifts. People seemed to enjoy them so my wife, Lauren, asked me to try to sell them. Now here we are - horns being sent all over the country.
