Guided Hunts on private ranches in the Golden Triangle of Texas!

For years we have been managing our deer herd with the utmost care and stewardship of our land and wildlife, and now, for the first time, we are very excited to begin offering a limited amount of privately guided hunts. We have over 5,000 acres of prime South Texas hunting land outside of Encinal, Texas.

The Hunts

The hunts are 3 days (an evening, a full day, and a morning) guided by family and ranch personnel. You will be wined and dined as a personal guest of the ranch. We love taking kids hunting, so (as they say) take a kid hunting! The base price includes a buck up to 145", a doe, two (2) javelinas and two (2) feral hogs, if we can find them. The guides have final say on every harvest, as we are on a strict management system. Get ready for an authentic deep South Texas experience with nice accomodations, campfires, Mexican food and camaraderie.

Early Season Hunt

Base Fee $3,500

Our first hunt will be an early season hunt in mid/late October, and can be an archery hunt. Date will be mutually agreeable between STB and clients. Will be primarily blind hunting and drive hunting. We will accommodate up to three hunters at one time. Each hunter may have one non-hunting guest.

Rattling/Rut Hunt

Base Fee $5,000

This will be our premier hunt of the year during the rut in December or January. Many hunters have not had the privilege of having a big South Texas buck barrel down on them out of the brush. We plan to show you what its all about. We will walk and rattle in the mornings and blind hunt the afternoons. We will accommodate up to 2 hunters at one time. Each hunter may have one non-hunting guest.

Late Season Management Hunt - Base Fee $4,000

Our late season hunt offers the most value. The hunt includes 2 bucks and 2 does. The deer taken are all guide's choice, and will be under 140" B&C. Also included are 2 javelinas. Also throw in 2 feral hogs if we can find them. Each hunter may have one non-hunting guest.

PRICING LIST

The base fee includes any deer up to 145 inches. After the base fee, hunters will be charged $300 per inch of the deer you harvest. We will use the Boone and Crockett scoring method. Examples would be as follows:

150" Buck => $5,000 (early), $6,000 (rattling)

160" Buck => $8,000 (early), $9,500 (rattling)

170" Buck => $11,000 (early), $12,500 (rattling)
