Here at South Texas Bangers we love to support the creativity and hard work of fellow South Texans. So, when we came across the work that AD Chapa was bangin’ out in the ‘wild horse desert’ we felt obliged to get his name out there. He is a true South Texan. He is a professional hunter, a taxidermist and has become a master with wood. We are proud to be featuring his art.

AD Chapa

“Born and raised in Ben bolt, Texas, I started working with wood after high school helping friends frame and build homes. I’ve always had a connection to the work and the outdoors. It has somewhat defined where I come from and who I am through its teaching. I’ve always strived to make things as perfect as possible because if we are not trying to be perfect, then what are we doing? I’ve believed that hard work makes the man. So that’s exactly what I give. I have a 4 year old daughter that is my absolute drive and motivation to always be better. I am surrounded by some of the best people you’d ever meet in south Texas, that will always be a reflection of my work. To show that this is where we come from: hard work, humbleness, toughness, and a praise to God that’ll never be unmatched.”
